Koeweiden Postma

Simple and clear, yet surprising and imaginative. This is what characterizes the design of Koeweiden Postma. In twenty years the agency developed from a two-man startup into a creatively leading designcompany of 20 people. The portfolio of the agency nowadays ranges from book covers and cultural posters to major international indentity operations including logo and housestyle design, and communication.

Among its current assignments are identity renewal operations for insurance holding Eureko/Achmea and for ICT services company Getronics, two Netherlands based international companies. Recent assignments include rebranding of employment services group USG People, including its 15 flagship brands, and identity restyling of the Netherlands most popular private label retail chain HEMA. Earlier Koeweiden Postma provided the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, as well as the Judiciary system in the Netherlands.

Recently Koeweiden Postma launched Because, a label for social design. Because aims to connect creativity with social developments. It builds on the experience of Koeweiden Postma, but seeks cooperation with other parties as well. We want to think together with companies, organizations and institutions about the opportunities for design and visual communication to adress social issues.

Because realized a visual identity for the Ramadan Festival, a festival for encounter and fraternization that started in the Netherlands and expanded into different European countries.

Another Because-project was the 2007 familiarisation campaign for the city of Amsterdam under the theme: Familiarisation - another word for participation: "Meedoen"
