Intelligibility and colour for ASVZ
Published on: 18 Aug, 2008 | Author: ahmed
Amsterdam, August 2008 – The new identity of ASVZ, an organisation for care and service for people with mental restrictions, is colourful and above all personal. The new identity, developed by Koeweiden Postma, thus reflects the objective of ASVZ to support her clients as much as possible in their personal development.
ASVZ, formally known as ASVZ Zuid West (South West), is an independent organization connected to the Carante Group. Under the motto ‘Care and service from A to Z’ ASVZ services 4.000 clients with 4.000 employees and another 900 volunteers in the southwest of the Netherlands. Among the clients are children, (young) adults, and elderly as well as complete families.
ASVZ approaches all these clienst as unique persons with their own personal wants, preferences and possibilities. This was taken as the starting point for the visual identity. In it’s colourfulness and versatility this style reflects the diversity of the people at ASVZ. The clients themselves also appear in the identity, something that is very exeptional in the world of care. Furthermore this style is very simple and both in imagery and words easy to understand for people of every intellectual level. Yet this style is selfconscious and modern too.
The new ASVZ identity has been worked out in a large amount of items, from signing and stationery to advertising, posters, folders, brochures, a newspaper, the annual report, and T-shirts.
